Commencement 2024

The application deadline for those planning to graduate in May was Friday, Feb. 9. If you have not yet applied, you must complete a late application. The application is available through Self-Service by clicking on Student Main Menu, Student Academic Records, and Graduation Application. Please be sure to complete the Supplemental Questionnaire to complete the process.

Online ordering of cap and gown is now taking place and will continue through March 26.

Senior portraits will take place April 1–4 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Gengras Student Union, room 151. Additional April dates may be added based on need. Reserve your portrait appointment.

Commencement 2024

Our annual May Commencement exercises are scheduled for Sunday, May 12, at the XL Center in downtown Hartford. It will celebrate the academic achievements of all who were awarded degrees during the 2023–24 academic year (Sept. 2023, Jan. 2024, May 2024). The Graduate Ceremony (doctoral and master's degrees) will be held at 9 a.m. with the Undergraduate Ceremony (bachelor's and associate degrees) taking place at 2 p.m.

Before you can walk across the stage, you need to make sure you've completed all the necessary steps for graduation.
